“I don’t charge by the minute or hour”.
During the course of my accounting career, I discovered most firms charged clients by the hour (Technically 15 minute intervals). This made my clients hesitate to call me for fear of being charged. They also loathed not knowing how much they were going to be charged upon completion of the work. As someone who has worked as an employee under this billing system, I have never been a fan.
For these reasons (and others), I decided to move to a fixed price billing system when starting this firm.
- As a customer you will be billed based on the value of the service being performed and not the specific time commitment.
- This means you can contact me without the fear of being charged for every phone call or e-mail inquiry.
- You will know how much you are paying before the work commences.
- Different service packages can be customized to fit your specific needs.
Good relationships aren’t based on the minute or the hour and I never intend to treat you like a stop-watch.
